I visited New Zealand a few years ago and loved it. New Zealand is such a beautiful country and the Kiwis are such lovely people too.

I didn’t get to scuba dive when I was there, but I did snorkel a few times.

One time was in the straight between the north and south islands of New Zealand.

I only snorkelled for a short time whilst waiting for the ferry. I saw plenty of rays and other fish just in the shallows there.

I’d love to go back to New Zealand at some point and get to snorkel and scuba dive the Bay of Islands.

However, I did get to snorkel on the Mahia Peninsular near to Napier. This was a beautiful area in the north Island of New Zealand.
