Sea turtles can be grumpy

I once experienced a particularly grumpy turtle in the seas around the Venezuelan Island of Curacao.

As it happens, this turtle was diformed. It’s shell was a strange diformed shape.

Not that I would ever harass any sea creature, as I don’t do that, but this turtle took objection to me being anywhere near to it.

It would turn to try and bite me if I got anywhere close to it.

I’m not sure if anyone has ever experienced similar or the same?
