At work today I got talking to a colleague and it turns out that she did one dive and one dive only. Also that one dive was a night dive.
I was amazed, as this is highly unusual. She said the dive was to hunt octopus in the Mediterranean with a group of Greek navy trained scuba divers.
She enjoyed it and did admit she was quite scared before she went in.
I love night diving, but it’s not something I’d suggest for anyone to do as their first ever scuba dive.
I have to admit for someone to do their first and only dive as a night dive, this is quite something.
Whilst night diving for someone with experience isn’t actually difficult, as long as you know what you doing and know the dive site, for someone who’s never dived before, this is something else’s.
