Best option for a first Live on Board. This was our first Live on Board, we were a bit scared about the intensity and duration of the cruise as we had no Nitrox yet. Finally we were able to get our Nitrox course during the cruise and all the dives were well explained with no rush and allowing everyone to understand the next dive. Food was awesome, in quantity, variety and taste, great chef!”

Customer review from Liveaboard.com

Great diving experience in the Red Sea! This tlegorm could be seen 100 times and you still wouldn’t get sick of it. It really is something special. Compliments to the chef who made such a variety of food for every meal. There was something for everyone. The briefings for the dives were detailed and even gave back stories to the wrecks and the reefs. The dive masters knew where to find different wildlife and took care of the group while giving those space that wanted it. The rooms were nice and the environment was social. The whole experience on this boat was a highlight.”

The Freedom III supports technical diving, rebreather divers and sidemount divers, so advanced divers can use their normal configuration onboard. In addition, If you plan to do technical diving, the Freedom III supports it, but before you finalise your trip, check the typical dive depths, available gases, and whether stage and decompression cylinders are supported on your chosen itinerary. What’s more, If you dive rebreather, the Freedom III provides support, but it’s worth confirming in advance which rebreathers are supported and whether oxygen fills, sorb availability, and bailout requirements are in place, because this can vary by region and itinerary.

If you dive sidemount, the Freedom III supports it, but when planning your dives check cylinder options and the deck set-up, so your configuration is comfortable and properly supported for the dives planned.

All Egypt's Discounted Liveaboard Deals & Last Minute Discounts

All liveaboard reviews on this site are written based on my real diving experience, from hundreds of dives across reefs, wreck dives, shark dives, deep dives, night dives and drysuit diving.

I’ve cold water dived in the UK, warm water dived from many of the Caribbean islands, dived both the east and west coasts of Australia, the Red Sea, South Africa and dived the east and west coasts of the USA, and I’ve also spent time and enjoyed diving from liveaboards myself too.

My aim; to always give you clear, honest, practical advice, so you can book the right dive boat and enjoy the best possible liveaboard diving holiday, be that on the Freedom III or any other liveaboard I've reviewed on Scuba Diving Earth.
