Straits of Gubal dive guide, best time to dive, and what to expect

The Straits of Gubal form the southern entrance to the Gulf of Suez and contain some of Egypt's most celebrated wreck and reef diving. Liveaboard itineraries commonly combine reefs around Gubal and Shaab Mahmoud with historic wrecks including SS Thistlegorm, SS Dunraven and the wrecks of Abu Nuhas.
