Gopro lost in ocean story that ends well - Because of Gopro floaty stick

Gopro floaty stick saves the day for Red Sea dive trip

If you’re a Gopro owner and take it diving or perhaps snorkeling, you may be interested in this Gopro lost in the ocean story. This scuba diving story was sent to me by scuba diver Paula after a trip to the Red Sea in Egypt.

Scuba diving story of a Gopro lost in the ocean with a happy ending when it’s found. It was the Gopro floaty stick that saved the day! “It had unhinged itself and floated to the surface with The floaty stick! 8 minutes it videoed itself being tumbled about in the waves before one of the crew on the boat saw it.”

So the moral of this scuba diving story is to only use a Gopro when scuba diving with a floaty stick!

The best way to do more diving and to use your GoPro and floaty stick more often, is to book yourself on a scuba diving liveaboard. You can check the latest and best deals on liveaboards using the following window:

Paula’s lost Gopro story continues…

I almost lost it on my first dive too! It had unhinged itself and floated to the surface with The floaty stick!

8 minutes it videoed itself being tumbled about in the waves before one of the crew on the boat saw it and retrieved it!”

I was one happy Diver when I got back on board! I could have kissed him ?. It certainly deserved a tip!”

After that first dive I made sure I had it securely tied to my bcd more than once!”

So in the end, the moral of this lost Gopro scuba story is to either fix it to your scuba diving equipment or get a Gopro floaty stick. I prefer to affix any equipment, be it my dive torch or in this case a Gopro, to my equipment.
