The shortest Maldive dive liveaboard trips

If you’re looking for a short 3 day Maldives liveaboard diving trip, I’m afraid you’re out of luck. But if you can squeeze this to a 5 day, 4 night trip on a Maldives liveaboard, then you’re in luck.

Liveaboard Maldives 3 days all inclusive: There are no all-inclusive Maldives liveaboards for 3 days. But you could get a short-stay liveaboard for 5 days, 4 nights instead. These two 5 day Maldives liveaboards include the ‘Exceptional’ rated Scubaspa Yang and the ‘Superb’ rated Scubaspa Ying liveaboard.

The best way to dive the Maldives is by a scuba diving liveaboard. You can check the latest and best deals on Maldives liveaboards using the following window:

Table of Maldives liveaboards

This list of Maldives liveaboards is in descending customer rating order, followed by Scuba Diving Luxury Rating (SDE Lux Rating, see below), so the liveaboards with the highest customer rating and the best SDE lux rating will be at the top of the list. The Scuba Diving Earth Luxury Rating (SDE Lux Rating) is explained on each liveaboard review when you click the “Discover Liveaboard” link, and is my own Liveaboard Luxury Rating I’ve assigned to all liveaboards. Choosing between liveaboards is helped by customer scores, and if you get stuck choosing between two or three liveaboards, where each one has a high customer score out of 10, you can use the SDE Luxury Rating to help narrow down your choice.

Think about it like using Booking.com when searching for the best hotel. Booking.com also use a customer score where each customer rates hotels out of 10. This is similar to the liveaboard customer rating, which is also rated out of 10. But let’s say you only like to stay in hotels rated 8 and above on Booking.com, but you also want the hotel to have WIFI or parking, or to have a swimming pool etc. The features each hotel has is usually secondary to the score out of 10.

More reviews of the Maldives liveaboard Scubaspa Yang

Here are a couple more reviews of the Scubaspa Yang Maldives liveaboard:

Beyond incredible!

“This has been our best Liveaboard experience we have ever had! The boat is stunning, the food was absolutely incredible (with lots of options) and the diving could not have been better. Mantas, whale shark, currents, colors, it had everything! The currents here are very strong and a reef hook is needed on most dives so the diving in the Maldives is not for beginners but it has to date been the best diving experience that we have had and we have been to some pretty incredible places. I couldn’t recommend this boat any more highly and we cannot wait to visit again :)”

Liveaboard Maldives 5 days, 4 nights trip – review #3

Best Liveaboard Experience EVER!

It was just the perfect trip from beginning to the end. We were met at the airport by a crew member, and was brought to the motherboat by the dive dhoni. Upon arrival on the main boat, the registration process was simple and clear. We were brought to the cabin by the cruise manager, and given a short introduction of the cabin. In the evening of the arrival day, we were all given a full briefing and met the whole crew of the ScubaSpa Yang. There was 18 divers on our trip, but the boat never felt crowded throughout the whole trip. The sea star cabin was modern, clean and very comfortable. It was the entry level cabin, but spacious enough for 2 people.”

Housekeeping would usually clean the cabin when we are out for the first dive daily. Coming back to a nice clean cabin after the dive was such a nice feeling. Boat’s facilities included many sun decks, jacuzzi, gym, spa, bar, restaurant, etc. The dive dhoni was the most perfectly designed dive boat i’ve ever been on. Nitrox was complimentary for nitrox divers. There was ample space to keep our equipment in a box given to each diver. Hangers were provided to hang our wetsuits between dives. our gear was rinsed every night with fresh water. The Dhoni crew was very helpful, always helping in every way possible. Dive guide was very experienced, and knew the currents and dive sites inside out. Overall, it was a wonderful trip. I would definitely recommend, and would definitely return in the near future.”

ScubaSpa is Heaven for Divers!

I loved my Manta Stateroom & the ever changing views of the Maldives. If excellent diving with wonderful dive masters wasn’t enough—they schooled us on diving in wild currents/reef hooks, etc!!! The BBQ dinner on the sand island was over the top! And…the massages in the spa—perfect!!!
