The diving on the Great Barrier Reef
The diving on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef is varied and interesting with some deep dives, which can be up to 30 metres (98 feet) and there are night dives too. But The Coral Sea Dreaming is about including most experience levels of scuba diver.
On most of these dive trips divers will see a variety of marine life. This includes nudibranchs, Napoleon Wrasse, cod fish, moray eels, large schools of reef fish, eagle rays, various shark species including grey reef and white tip sharks, turtles, manta rays and the occasional whale sharks. Plus there’s always that chance you could see a bull shark or a tiger shark too. Plus of course the chance to see a Dwarf Minke Whale or humpback whales and coral spawning at the right time of year on the GBR!
You will also get the opportunity on some trips to dive some of the most beautiful shipwrecks too.

Absolutely amazing two days with an awesome crew. “The scuba diving for the certified divers was absolutely amazing, as well as for my friends who did a few “Try Dives”. The night dive is one of the coolest things i have done in my entire life, seeing sharks and other big fish feeding as well as the crazy colors of the corals under the UV light. Drinking wine and looking at the amazing stars at night was a big plus after a day in the water. Even while snorkeling, we were able to see octopus, sea turtles, and many other fish/coral.” Recommended for: Friendly staff, camera rental, delicous food.
CORAL SEA DREAMING This was one of the best weekends away i’ve ever had! Sailing around the outer edges of the Great Barrier Reef on some of the best reef systems the GBR has to offer! Most of our trip was spent at Milln Reef which is arguably the best reef out of Cairns, Australia. The footage speaks for itself, but my god is it beautiful! I can honestly say this was one of the best scuba diving and snorkelling trips i’ve done to date!
