“Sea-ze the day with Carpe Diem! I recently returned from two unforgettable liveaboard trips with Carpe Diem in the stunning waters of Komodo, and I can’t recommend this experience enough! From the moment I boarded the vessel, Cecile and the crew made me feel at home. They were caring, friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, ensuring that all my needs and those of other guests were met. In addition, Cecile's empathetic, authentic, and accountable approach to leading her crew and hosting her guests are no doubt qualities that make her an inspirational leader at sea! The phinisi itself was beautiful, comfortable, clean and well-equipped, with spacious cabins and plenty of communal areas to relax and socialize. Diving from the liveaboard was a game-changer. Each day was packed with multiple dives at breathtaking sites, ranging from vibrant coral reefs to exhilarating drift dives. Cecile and Agus were exceptional, providing handy tips and ensuring our safety while inviting us to explore the underwater splendour. I encountered an array of marine life, including majestic manta rays, docile reef sharks, shy regal blue tangs, and even a dugong swimming gracefully from a distance. The meals onboard were another highlight. Each meal was a delicious celebration of local and international flavors, and the variety was always in abundance to cater to different dietary preferences.
