Komodo National Park dive guide, best time to dive, and what to expect

Komodo National Park offers reefs, pinnacles, channels and manta encounters across its northern, central and southern areas. Sites named on some liveaboard routes include Batu Bolong, Castle Rock, Crystal Rock and Manta Point, but these are examples rather than guaranteed stops. Currents and water temperatures can vary markedly between sites. Liveaboards departing from Labuan Bajo may follow different routes and durations, so check the actual itinerary and the diver experience requirements for the trip.

Best time to dive: April to November is a common dry-season window; southern sites can also be visited in other months.
