Cajoma IV Liveaboard Review - Expert Guide to Choosing Your Liveaboard

Russell Bowyer here. I've written this Cajoma IV Liveaboard review to help you choose the right liveaboard with confidence. As a qualified diving instructor and Advanced BSAC Diver with 500+ dives worldwide, I've helped countless divers pick their perfect liveaboard - whether it's your first time liveaboard or you're an experienced diver seeking your next adventure.

Read more about Russell's diving experience

My diving experience spans cold-water UK drysuit dives, warm coral reefs in the Caribbean, the Red Sea, the Great Barrier Reef, and South Africa. As a former BSAC Diving Officer and diving instructor, I've taught many people to dive and taken a lot of the divers I taught on their first dive. I also used to organise and run dive trips in the UK, with one of my favourites being expeditions to the Farne Islands to dive with the seals. I've logged every type of dive: decompression stop deep dives, wreck dives, shark dives, night dives, drift dives, and everything in between. This hands-on experience means I know exactly what makes a great liveaboard experience, having dived from liveaboards myself and loved it. This is why I came up with the SDE Liveaboard Rating* to help you choose the best liveaboard for you.

Unforgettable Liveaboard Experience on Cajoma IV! I had an absolutely amazing experience on the Cajoma IV liveaboard! 🌊 From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, and the crew took care of every detail with so much attention. The dive master was not only extremely professional but also incredibly kind and fun to be around, which made the dives even more enjoyable. The dive sites were simply breathtaking — some of the most beautiful underwater landscapes I’ve ever seen. Every dive felt unique and unforgettable. The atmosphere on board was fantastic, with such a warm and friendly vibe among everyone. On top of that, the food was delicious at every meal, a real highlight after a full day of diving. I can’t recommend the Cajoma IV enough — an outstanding liveaboard experience in Indonesia!”

My aim; to always give you clear, honest, practical advice, so you can book the right dive boat and enjoy the best possible liveaboard diving holiday, be that on the Cajoma IV or any other liveaboard I've reviewed on Scuba Diving Earth.
