Nautilus Two Liveaboard Review - Expert Guide to Choosing Your Liveaboard

Russell Bowyer here. I've written this Nautilus Two Liveaboard review to help you choose the right liveaboard with confidence. As a qualified diving instructor and Advanced BSAC Diver with 500+ dives worldwide, I've helped countless divers pick their perfect liveaboard - whether it's your first time liveaboard or you're an experienced diver seeking your next adventure.

Read more about Russell's diving experience

My diving experience spans cold-water UK drysuit dives, warm coral reefs in the Caribbean, the Red Sea, the Great Barrier Reef, and South Africa. As a former BSAC Diving Officer and diving instructor, I've taught many people to dive and taken a lot of the divers I taught on their first dive. I also used to organise and run dive trips in the UK, with one of my favourites being expeditions to the Farne Islands to dive with the seals. I've logged every type of dive: decompression stop deep dives, wreck dives, shark dives, night dives, drift dives, and everything in between. This hands-on experience means I know exactly what makes a great liveaboard experience, having dived from liveaboards myself and loved it. This is why I came up with the SDE Liveaboard Rating* to help you choose the best liveaboard for you.

Customer review from Liveaboard.com

Brilliant dive trip, led by wonderful guides, very comfortable boat and great food! The sunset night dive with the large number of Nurse and other sharks. Sting Ray City was amazing, as was the Manta Ray dive. Personally, i would have liked to have had the option for more night dives. The boat was really spacious and very clean, the food plentiful and varied, the crew were very friendly and helpful. Ali and Coco were really patient and great dive guides. Boat crew very helpful with equipment when needed. Wonderful trip!”

Recommended for: The marine life, the crew and the food, especially the maldivian dishes!

I’ve cold water dived in the UK, warm water dived from many of the Caribbean islands, dived both the east and west coasts of Australia, the Red Sea, South Africa and dived the east and west coasts of the USA, and I’ve also spent time and enjoyed diving from liveaboards myself too.

My aim; to always give you clear, honest, practical advice, so you can book the right dive boat and enjoy the best possible liveaboard diving holiday, be that on the Nautilus Two or any other liveaboard I've reviewed on Scuba Diving Earth.
