Above my expectations. The diving was obviously amazing. But what really made the trip was the main dive instructor Marja who did a really good job of setting the vibe. The food was amazing and the thai crew really helpful, smiling and caring. I enjoyed this trip a lot!”

Customer review from Liveaboard.com

Great diving and a great atmosphere. Bumping into 3 guitarfish just lying next to us. Seeing a huge marble ray glide past us. Encountering two octopuses and seven cuttlefish. Seeing three sharks on one dive. Eating the green curry sauce every day. Meeting nice people from all over the world.”

Recommended for: 1 My group's dive guide, Xavier, was the perfect combination of professionalism and fun. He also managed to find the smallest sea creatures in conditions of extremely poor visibility. 2 We visited some great diving sites and saw lots of fantastic creatures. 3 The atmosphere on board, among the guests and crew, was always jovial.

All liveaboard reviews on this site are written based on my real diving experience, from hundreds of dives across reefs, wreck dives, shark dives, deep dives, night dives and drysuit diving.

I’ve cold water dived in the UK, warm water dived from many of the Caribbean islands, dived both the east and west coasts of Australia, the Red Sea, South Africa and dived the east and west coasts of the USA, and I’ve also spent time and enjoyed diving from liveaboards myself too.

My aim; to always give you clear, honest, practical advice, so you can book the right dive boat and enjoy the best possible liveaboard diving holiday, be that on the Manta Queen 5 or any other liveaboard I've reviewed on Scuba Diving Earth.
