Truly an amazing experience. the week went by too quick. The 3 dive guides I dove with were excellent (Mariano, Stephe, Yacque). The 2 shark feedings were awesome. The currents in the channels were a challenge for me, but they helped me through it using the reef hook and "flying like a kite" is a wild experience The food was great Would highly recommend this liveaboard!”

Maldives Blue Force 3 Liveaboard Review - Expert Guide to Choosing Your Liveaboard

Russell Bowyer here. I've written this Maldives Blue Force 3 Liveaboard review to help you choose the right liveaboard with confidence. As a qualified diving instructor and Advanced BSAC Diver with 500+ dives worldwide, I've helped countless divers pick their perfect liveaboard - whether it's your first time liveaboard or you're an experienced diver seeking your next adventure.

Read more about Russell's diving experience

My diving experience spans cold-water UK drysuit dives, warm coral reefs in the Caribbean, the Red Sea, the Great Barrier Reef, and South Africa. As a former BSAC Diving Officer and diving instructor, I've taught many people to dive and taken a lot of the divers I taught on their first dive. I also used to organise and run dive trips in the UK, with one of my favourites being expeditions to the Farne Islands to dive with the seals. I've logged every type of dive: decompression stop deep dives, wreck dives, shark dives, night dives, drift dives, and everything in between. This hands-on experience means I know exactly what makes a great liveaboard experience, having dived from liveaboards myself and loved it. This is why I came up with the SDE Liveaboard Rating* to help you choose the best liveaboard for you.

Customer review from Liveaboard.com

Definitely would dive with Blueforce again! I booked this trip with Blueforce 3 very last minute, and I’m so glad I did! Before the trip, the team was very patient and helpful in answering all my questions. The only thing was that email replies weren’t always prompt, probably due to the time zone difference between Europe and Asia. Since I literally booked just one day before departure, I was a bit nervous—but everything worked out perfectly! The crew and dive guides were incredibly attentive, professional, and friendly, making my first liveaboard trip in the Maldives truly memorable and fun. The cabin was super comfortable—the bed and bathroom were probably even nicer than my apartment, honestly! The food was great, with lots of variety, including both local and international dishes. I especially enjoyed the Mediterranean salads. Mariano’s dive briefings were really informative, and I learned so much about the amazing marine life, which made each dive even more meaningful. The dive guides were not only professional but also genuinely passionate about what they do. Their positive energy created a great vibe on board, making the diving both fun and safe. Everyone on this trip was so friendly and amazing. I’m really happy that my first liveaboard experience in the Maldives gave me the chance to meet so many fellow diving and ocean lovers! To top it all off, at the end of the trip, the onboard videographer Rishaan made an amazing video for us as a souvenir, so we can always look back on these beautiful memories.”

Recommended for: Excellen Briefing and Diving. Comfortable Boat & Cabin. Superb Food & Drinks.
