Great Diving! Fantastic food and crew for an unforgettable time! Diving Saba was a unique experience. Overall the crew was extremely awesome! Captain Lauren was great with the boat and crossings. She worked hard to ensure we had quality and safe dive sites with the unpredictable Saba weather. Amber was an amazing hostess, she seemed to know what we wanted before we even asked for it. Fantastic Food and Diving just completed the package. Very well run boat and fun time! Highly recommend!”

Caribbean Explorer II Liveaboard Review - Expert Guide to Choosing Your Liveaboard

Russell Bowyer here. I've written this Caribbean Explorer II Liveaboard review to help you choose the right liveaboard with confidence. As a qualified diving instructor and Advanced BSAC Diver with 500+ dives worldwide, I've helped countless divers pick their perfect liveaboard - whether it's your first time liveaboard or you're an experienced diver seeking your next adventure.

Read more about Russell's diving experience

My diving experience spans cold-water UK drysuit dives, warm coral reefs in the Caribbean, the Red Sea, the Great Barrier Reef, and South Africa. As a former BSAC Diving Officer and diving instructor, I've taught many people to dive and taken a lot of the divers I taught on their first dive. I also used to organise and run dive trips in the UK, with one of my favourites being expeditions to the Farne Islands to dive with the seals. I've logged every type of dive: decompression stop deep dives, wreck dives, shark dives, night dives, drift dives, and everything in between. This hands-on experience means I know exactly what makes a great liveaboard experience, having dived from liveaboards myself and loved it. This is why I came up with the SDE Liveaboard Rating* to help you choose the best liveaboard for you.
