Amazing experience. This is my first liveaboard and it just blew me away. The dive sites took my breath away, the care of the crew and dive guides are impeccable, food is absolutely amazing for every single meal. I can't recommend them enough and I know I'll definitely be returning again. Special shout out to Ton, my dive guide, couldn't ask for anyone better!”

My diving experience spans cold-water UK drysuit dives, warm coral reefs in the Caribbean, the Red Sea, the Great Barrier Reef, and South Africa. As a former BSAC Diving Officer, I've led dive training and operations. I've logged every type of dive: decompression stop deep dives, wreck dives, shark dives, night dives, drift dives, and everything in between. This hands-on experience means I know exactly what makes a great liveaboard experience.

Customer review from Liveaboard.com

First liveaboard and ready for more! I was apprehensive at first about going on a liveaboard on my own but I am thankful that the trip was really enjoyable - be it the good company, good food, or great dive sites. It was fun interacting with fellow divers, hearing about their diving experiences and travel adventures, and sharing a few drinks with them. The dive guides took care of us (and the marine environment) and carried out detailed dive briefings so that we could enjoy the dives. Expectations for Richelieu Rock were high and I'm glad it didn't disappoint. It was really awe-inspiring to see large shoals of barracudas and schools of tunas, and not forgetting the cute anemone fishes and beautiful corals. Another highlight of the trip was probably the night dive. The briefing was hilarious but conveyed the safety messages across effectively. Thank you SeaDragon for such a memorable trip!”

Recommended for: Crew service and friendliness. Amenities on the boat. Dive briefings.

All Thailand's Discounted Liveaboard Deals & Last Minute Discounts

All liveaboard reviews on this site are written based on my real diving experience, from hundreds of dives across reefs, wreck dives, shark dives, deep dives, night dives and drysuit diving.

I’ve cold water dived in the UK, warm water dived from many of the Caribbean islands, dived both the east and west coasts of Australia, the Red Sea, South Africa and dived the east and west coasts of the USA, and I’ve also spent time and enjoyed diving from liveaboards myself too.

My aim; to always give you clear, honest, practical advice, so you can book the right dive boat and enjoy the best possible liveaboard diving holiday, be that on the Andaman Liveaboard or any other liveaboard I've reviewed on Scuba Diving Earth.
