Isla Santiago is a large central Galápagos island with several possible dive and visitor locations rather than one single entry point. Volcanic reef, ledges and sand support sea lions, turtles, rays, moray eels, octopus and reef fish. Depending on the exact site and season, penguins, fur seals and passing sharks may also appear.

Because the name covers a wide area, the depth, visibility and current shown here are representative. Some sites are sheltered and suitable for a steady reef dive, while others experience stronger tidal flow. Divers should judge the day by the operator’s briefing rather than expecting identical conditions everywhere around Santiago.
