Hurricane Florence is about to hit the coast of the USA

It’s hurricane season once more and there’s a strong hurricane heading towards the coast of America as I write.

For more info: https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.washingtonpost.com/amphtml/weather/2018/09/11/hurricane-florence-washington-region-worst-is-likely-stay-south/

There are two other hurricanes behind Florence out in the Atlantic too.

Be mindful if you’ve booked your trip to either the US or to the Caribbean, as hurricanes can come thick and fast at this time of year.

Make sure you’ve taken out travel insurance already and in plenty of time before your travels. Just in case your holiday gets cancelled.

Last year we were lucky to miss a hurricane when we went to Antigua in late September, early October.

We were amazed to find how Barbuda had been levelled, which is about 20 miles off the coast of Antigua, where Antigua was hardly touched.

In fact Barbuda was uninhabitable and the whole population of Barduba had to moe to Antigua.

Despite the devastating effect of the hurricane that had blown through just before we arrived, the scuba diving was actually good. I was concerned that the visibility might have been affected, but it really wasn’t that bad.

Learn from yesterday, live for today and hope for tomorrow...
