Brothers Islands dive guide, best time to dive, and what to expect

The remote Brothers Islands consist of Big Brother and Little Brother, rising from deep water in the central Egyptian Red Sea. They are known for steep walls, strong currents, pelagic encounters and the Numidia and Aida wrecks at Big Brother.

These exposed sites are generally suited to experienced divers, and access depends on weather and marine-park conditions.

Best time to dive: Year-round, with May to November often favoured for warmer water and pelagic encounters.
