Midriffs Islands is known for an expedition-style route through the northern Gulf islands, where upwellings support sea lions, whales and schooling fish. It is not a guaranteed wildlife performance: water movement, visibility and encounters vary by season and from one dive to the next, which is why the guide’s local briefing matters as much as the published range.
